"It was very exciting to meet the graduate students at University of Maryland for the AAPS Student Chapter Symposium. Having recently transitioned from graduate school to working for the FDA, I could relate to all the students and their questions. It is a great opportunity for them to understand the recruitment process in the government and the nature of the work in order to make a decision about their prospective employment. My takeaway from the panel discussion was that as an Agency, we are always looking for qualified individuals who are interested in doing meaningful work. I’m sure the panel discussions will be very useful for interested candidates to start their career paths to the FDA."
